About the Role
The Universal Advisor is responsible for delivering a positive customer experience by assisting clients with banking needs, promoting digital banking solutions, and ensuring compliance with banking processes. The role is part of FNB’s Alternative Channel (Pick ‘n Pay initiative), focusing on customer engagement and service delivery.Key Responsibilities
Customer Service and Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
- Provide friendly, efficient, and professional service
- Understand customer needs and offer suitable solutions
- Communicate processes clearly and simply
Sales and Product Solutions
- Identify sales opportunities and promote banking products
- Provide tailored financial solutions to customers
- Support portfolio growth through cross-selling
Digital Banking Support
- Educate customers on eChannels and self-service platforms
- Guide clients to the most suitable banking channels
- Promote digital adoption for convenience and efficiency
Compliance and Operations
- Follow all banking policies, procedures, and regulations
- Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Handle customer data responsibly and ethically
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum: Grade 12 / NQF Level 4
- Preferred: NQF Level 5 Certificate in Banking, Business Administration, Customer Service, or related field
- Experience: 1–3 years in customer service or financial services environment
