Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communication, Journalism, Environmental Communication, Development Studies, Sustainable Land Management, Forestry, Agriculture, or related fields.
Experience Requirements:

  • 3–4 years of experience in Social and Behaviour Change Communication, preferably linked to landscape restoration, sustainability, or environmental development.
  • Proven experience in planning, production, and execution of rural communication initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work independently and across distances.
  • Experience structuring projects and collaborating with partners to achieve communication objectives.
Skills & Competencies:

  • Fluent in English and Kiswahili.
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to gather field insights to improve communication strategies.
