Job Purpose
The role focuses on driving retail banking growth through strategic sales leadership, product development, and performance management across multiple channels.Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy and Growth
- Develop and implement retail sales strategies across deposits, cards, and digital banking
- Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and revenue streams
- Drive acquisition of new customers and improve retention strategies
Product Development
- Review and enhance existing banking products
- Conduct market research to identify new product opportunities
- Lead product pricing, launching, and performance monitoring
Sales Performance Management
- Lead and optimize sales across all channels including branches, digital platforms, and partnerships
- Monitor sales pipelines, conversion rates, and profitability
- Deliver on sales targets and P&L objectives
Leadership and Team Development
- Build a high-performance sales culture
- Implement incentive schemes, coaching, and training programs
- Conduct performance reviews and ensure team productivity
Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure all activities comply with banking regulations and internal policies
- Prepare reports for management, board, shareholders, and regulators
Qualifications and Experience
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university
Experience
- Minimum of 10 years in banking or financial services
- At least 3 years in a senior sales leadership role
- Proven track record in retail banking sales and revenue growth
