This position is ideal for a proactive “sales hunter” who enjoys prospecting, closing deals, and building strong, long-term client relationships. The company is rapidly expanding and already listed with multiple retail outlets across South Africa.

Job Overview​

  • Position: External Sales Representative (JB5967)
  • Location: Johannesburg
  • Salary: R15,000 per month + commission
  • Benefits: Fuel allowance for client visits

Key Responsibilities​

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing sales activities and growing the company’s market presence. Duties include:
  • Servicing existing accounts while identifying and securing new business opportunities
  • Planning and organizing daily schedules to visit current and potential clients
  • Merchandising products to attract customer interest and boost sales
  • Tailoring sales presentations based on different retail environments
  • Monitoring market trends, competitors, pricing, and product performance
  • Submitting orders and maintaining accurate sales records
  • Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports
  • Resolving customer complaints and ensuring client satisfaction
  • Maintaining professional knowledge through training, workshops, and networking
  • Contributing to team targets and overall business growth

Minimum Requirements​

Candidates must meet the following criteria:
  • Own a vehicle with a valid driver’s license (mandatory)
  • Grade 12 certificate
  • Degree or diploma in Sales or related field
  • 2–3 years of experience in FMCG, retail, or forecourt sales
  • Experience in territory management
  • Strong skills in prospecting, cold calling, and closing deals
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Highly motivated and target-driven mindset
