Sales Representative (Mtwara) – 1 Position | Kilombero Sugar Company​

Kilombero Sugar Company Limited is seeking a Sales Representative to manage and grow sales in Mtwara. This is a full-time mid-level position with a permanent contract.


Job Purpose​

The Sales Representative will be responsible for achieving and increasing sales volume and revenue targets within the assigned territory, while maintaining excellent customer relationships and market presence.


Key Responsibilities​

  • Execute the Kilombero Sugar Sales Service Offering (ISSO) and Perfect Store Guideline (PSG) for resellers and stockists
  • Follow call schedules and conduct structured sales calls
  • Provide input into sales targets and track performance at both territory and customer levels
  • Manage customer relationships, understanding their business needs and collaborating with Logistics and Finance to ensure timely delivery
  • Influence orders to meet targets and grow sales volumes using effective sales techniques
  • Notify customers of pricing changes and influence recommended retail prices (RRP) at store level
  • Record and update customer and call data using the Sales Force Automation tool
  • Support trade marketing campaigns directly or by guiding company/third-party staff
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards in the trade
  • Collaborate with Telesales, Logistics, and Credit Control teams to enhance customer satisfaction

Minimum Requirements​

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Marketing, or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience in an FMCG environment
  • Valid driving license
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory effectively
