About the Role
The Quality Control Officer is responsible for ensuring that all aluminium products meet company standards before delivery and installation.You will monitor production processes, inspect materials and finished products, and ensure compliance with quality procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Inspection and Control
- Inspect raw aluminium materials and components before production
- Conduct quality checks during fabrication, cutting, assembling, and finishing
- Inspect finished products such as doors, windows, partitions, and railings
- Ensure products meet drawings, measurements, and client specifications
Production Process Monitoring
- Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure proper techniques are followed
- Verify correct use of materials such as aluminium profiles, glass, and accessories
- Ensure machines and tools maintain required precision
Defect Identification and Correction
- Identify defects, damages, or inconsistencies
- Work with production teams to correct issues
- Reject products that do not meet required standards
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain inspection reports for all production stages
- Document defects and corrective actions
- Submit regular reports to management
Compliance and Safety
- Ensure adherence to company quality procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area
- Follow safety standards within the factory
Measurement and Technical Verification
- Verify product dimensions, alignment, and finishing
- Ensure accuracy in cutting and assembly
- Use measuring tools to confirm precision
Coordination and Improvement
- Collaborate with production, design, and installation teams
- Communicate quality issues and recommend solutions
- Suggest improvements to enhance product quality
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering (or related field)
- 2–3 years of experience in aluminium fabrication, metal works, or construction manufacturing
- Knowledge of aluminium profiles, glass installation, and hardware accessories
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail
