- Promoting positive learner attitudes through integrated teaching approaches
Key Responsibilities
[]Plan and deliver daily teaching activities (indoor and outdoor)
[]Supervise mealtimes, hygiene routines, break time, and sleep schedules
[]Prepare teaching materials and coordinate school events (e.g. concerts)
[]Handle lesson planning, assessments, and record-keeping
[]Conduct parent and learner meetings
[]Supervise student teachers and lead assemblies when required
[]Manage classroom environment, discipline, and communication
[]Observe and record learner behaviour and provide feedback- Organise and manage extramural and aftercare activities
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
[]Diploma in ECD or equivalent (minimum NQF Level 6)
[]At least 1 year experience as an ECD teacher
[]Knowledge of the CAPS curriculum
[]Strong facilitation, problem-solving, and report-writing skills
[]Excellent communication, organisational, and planning skills
[]Ability to work extended hours when required
[]Proficiency in Microsoft Office
[]SACE registration required- Clear criminal record
