About the Role
The Manager of Underground Infrastructure and Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) will oversee all major underground maintenance and service operations related to mining equipment and infrastructure.The role involves close collaboration with the Director of Asset Management and Engineering to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable underground mining operations.

Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for:Operational and Technical Leadership
- Managing underground mobile equipment maintenance operations
- Overseeing underground infrastructure installation and maintenance
- Leading major equipment rebuild projects
- Developing maintenance strategies aligned with OEM standards
- Supporting equipment availability, reliability, and operational efficiency
- Conducting root cause analysis for equipment failures
Safety and Compliance
- Driving workplace safety initiatives and hazard management programmes
- Ensuring compliance with electrical safety and operational standards
- Developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Implementing 5S and Lean maintenance principles
