Who Can Apply?
This position is open to candidates who meet the following requirements:- Grade 12 / NCV Level 4 or equivalent qualification
- A recognized three-year National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Financial Management
- Accounting
- Auditing
- Or related field
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in finance
- Computer literacy, including spreadsheets and word processing
- Knowledge of:
- GRAP (Generally Recognised Accounting Practice)
- CET Act
- Public Finance Management Act (PFMA)
- Contract management
- Valid driver’s license
Added Advantages:
- Experience in the TVET sector
- Knowledge of Pastel accounting system
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for:- Providing general financial support services to management
- Managing records and project reconciliations
- Maintaining project registers and supporting documentation
- Facilitating monthly stipend payments for interns
- Monitoring SETA activities and reconciling with the general ledger
- Managing rental agreements and invoicing for college properties
- Recording payments and maintaining financial records on Pastel
- Supporting debtor recovery processes
- Communicating with SETA funders and processing claims
- Ensuring timely closure of financial projects
