Position Overview​

The Human Resources Officer (HRO) will implement HR strategies and organizational development initiatives while managing staff-related functions such as recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and HR reporting. The role ensures compliance with labour laws and supports a motivated, productive workforce.


Key Responsibilities​

HR Operations & Administration:

  • Implement HR and organizational development strategies.
  • Maintain and update HR records and documentation.
  • Manage leave records, employee benefits, and insurance schemes.
  • Monitor staff attendance, absenteeism, and attrition trends.
Recruitment & Performance Management:

  • Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and induction of new staff.
  • Support performance management systems and KPI tracking.
  • Assist in succession planning and talent development initiatives.
Employee Relations & Engagement:

  • Manage employee relations and conflict resolution.
  • Support disciplinary processes and documentation per legal requirements.
  • Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and staff welfare programs.
HR Reporting & Analytics:

  • Prepare monthly HR reports and generate HR analytics.
  • Maintain HRIS data accuracy.
  • Provide HR advisory support to line managers on people-related matters.

Academic & Professional Qualifications​

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Administration, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years’ professional experience as Human Resources Officer.
  • Experience in microfinance, financial institutions, or banks is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
