Teaching & Academic Delivery
- Plan and deliver lessons using modern teaching tools and methods
- Measure learner progress and academic achievement
- Develop differentiated learning materials to support all learners
Curriculum Planning & Assessment
- Implement and adjust term plans based on assessments and school activities
- Design baseline assessments to evaluate learner knowledge levels
- Recommend subject combinations, teaching methods, and remedial programs
Classroom Management
- Organize classroom layout and learning environment for optimal performance
- Manage discipline and maintain effective communication with learners and parents
- Develop and manage assessment schedules and homework systems
Learner Support & Development
- Provide one-on-one tutoring and extra lessons
- Support continuous and formal assessments, including moderation and revision
- Plan and coordinate extramural activities and educational outings
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
Minimum Requirements
- BEd degree and/or PGCE in FET Phase Education
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as an FET phase teacher
- Strong knowledge of the IEB curriculum
- SACE registration
- Clear criminal record
