DRIVER II – 1 Position
Watumishi Housing Investments (WHI) is inviting applications from qualified candidates to fill one (1) position for the post of Driver II. The application period runs from 22 March 2026 to 04 April 2026.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation of company vehicles, maintenance of vehicles, and support for company operations. The duties and responsibilities include:
- Driving vehicles safely, considering traffic laws, passenger safety, and vehicle value
- Maintaining vehicle cleanliness regularly
- Filling in logbooks regularly for effective control of running costs
- Conducting regular vehicle condition checks and promptly reporting any faults
- Ensuring valid documents and permits are acquired before any journey
- Ensuring motor vehicles and accessories are in good condition and initiating routine maintenance/repair with approved service agents
- Maintaining disciplined behavior, smartness, and proper conduct while rendering services
- Performing messengerial duties such as dispatching documents/letters and collecting mails for the company
- Performing any other duties as may be assigned by superiors
- Form IV Secondary Education Certificate
- Valid Class C Driving License with a Basic Driving Course
- Trade Test Grade III/NVA I in Motor Vehicle Maintenance/Mechanics (added advantage)
- Clean driving experience of at least three (3) years without accidents
