DRIVER II – 20 Positions​

The Shirika la Posta Tanzania (TPC) is inviting applications from qualified candidates to fill twenty (20) positions for the post of Driver II. The application period runs from 22 March 2026 to 04 April 2026.

The successful candidates will be responsible for performing various driving and vehicle maintenance duties within the organization. These include:

• Driving corporation vehicles for administrative purposes
• Maintaining log-books for each and every trip
• Ensuring safe-keeping of the vehicle and entrusted tools
• Maintaining proper driver discipline at all times
• Ensuring cleanliness of the vehicle and tools
• Reporting promptly any defects or problems detected in the vehicle
• Performing minor repairs and reporting issues accordingly
• Adhering to vehicle maintenance schedules
• Carrying out other related duties as assigned by the supervisor

Applicants must meet the required qualifications and experience to be considered for the position. Specifically, candidates should possess:

• A Form IV Certificate
• A valid Class “C” or “E” Driving License
• A Basic Driving Course certificate from VETA or any recognized institution
• At least one (1) year of driving experience without causing accidents

The position offers a salary under the TPCSS 2 scale, in accordance with the organization’s salary structure.
