Overview​

Application Submission​

Applications must be submitted using the Z83 form (Public Service application form), obtainable from any Public Service department, and completed in full. Only a detailed Curriculum Vitae should be attached. Certified copies of qualifications and other relevant documents will be requested from shortlisted candidates on or before the day of the interview.

Closing Date​

Applications must reach the Department by 10 April 2026 at 15:45. Applicants are responsible for ensuring their applications are submitted on time. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

Selection and Screening​

Shortlisted candidates will undergo further checks, including:

• Security clearance and vetting
• Qualification verification
• Criminal record verification
• Fingerprinting on the day of the interview

Appointment is provisional, pending successful security clearance. Applicants who cannot obtain clearance may have their appointment reconsidered or terminated.

Assessments​

All shortlisted candidates, including Senior Management Service (SMS) positions, will undergo two pre-entry assessments:

1. A practical exercise to determine suitability for the technical and generic requirements of the post
2. An integrity and ethical conduct assessment
