ARTISAN II (PLUMBER) – 2 Positions
Njombe Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (NJUWASA) is inviting applications from qualified candidates to fill two (2) positions for the post of Artisan II (Plumber). The application period runs from 22 March 2026 to 04 April 2026.
The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining the water distribution system, addressing leakages, and supporting water supply operations. The duties and responsibilities include:
- Attending to and reporting all water leakages
- Attending to and reporting water distribution faults and recommending corrective actions
- Preparing data for periodical reports to the supervisor
- Attending to and reporting contamination in the water distribution system caused by customer service lines
- Developing individual performance objectives, targets, and standards in consultation with the immediate supervisor as part of performance agreements
- Performing any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor
- Form IV Certificate
- Trade Test Grade II/Level II/NTA 5 in Plumbing and Pipe Fitting or Pump Mechanical from recognized institutions
