Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Management & Bookkeeping
- Perform monthly reconciliations (bank, petty cash, suppliers, taxes)
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks
- Prepare financial reports and support cashflow forecasting
2. Compliance & Financial Controls
- Ensure compliance with NSSF, PAYE, VAT, and WHT regulations
- Liaise with auditors and tax advisors
- Strengthen internal financial controls and cost efficiency
3. Project & Field Finance Support
- Reconcile field expenses and monitor project budgets
- Process supplier and project payments
- Prepare project financial reports
4. Office Operations Support
- Assist with procurement and office logistics
- Support training sessions, workshops, and meetings
- Oversee office support staff and administrative processes
Qualifications and Requirements
To qualify for this role, you should have:- Tanzanian nationality
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and compliance
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication skills (English & Swahili)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
