As a Water Treatment Technician, your role will focus on maintaining water quality and supporting production processes. Core duties include:- Conducting water testing and analysis in line with company and regulatory standards
- Interpreting laboratory results and adjusting process parameters accordingly
- Maintaining laboratory equipment, including calibration and troubleshooting
- Supporting preventative maintenance and calibration schedules
- Ensuring compliance with KORE standards, GMP, and safety procedures
- Coordinating with external laboratories and suppliers for testing programs
- Performing Cleaning-in-Place (CIP) processes
- Participating in quality audits and continuous improvement initiatives
- Facilitating problem-solving sessions using tools like 5WHY
- Documenting findings, actions, and maintaining technical records
Qualifications and Experience
To qualify for this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Environmental Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years in a food processing or manufacturing environment
- Experience in bottling or quality control is an added advantage
