WATER LABORATORY TECHNICIAN II – 1 Position
Njombe Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (NJUWASA) is inviting applications from qualified candidates to fill one (1) position for the post of Water Laboratory Technician II. The application period runs from 22 March 2026 to 04 April 2026.
The successful candidate will be responsible for water testing, analysis, and treatment processes, ensuring water quality and proper laboratory operations. The duties and responsibilities include:
- Carrying out daily water sample tests to establish types and quantities of water treatment required
- Collecting water samples from different parts of the water treatment plant for analysis and recording
- Performing water and wastewater treatment processes
- Conducting physical, chemical, and bacteriological analysis of water and wastewater
- Ensuring that laboratory equipment is in proper working order
- Participating in collecting, compiling, and evaluating data on water production, distribution, and wastewater quality
- Maintaining proper records of laboratory investigations
- Performing any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor
- Diploma/FTC in Water Laboratory, Water Laboratory Technology, Water Resources Engineering, Water Supply and Sanitation Engineering, or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution
