VETA National Examination Results – December 2025

The Vocational Education and Training Authority (VETA) conducted the National Vocational Education and Training Examinations for the December 2025 session as part of assessing competencies acquired during training at Levels 1, 2, and 3.

A total of 40,973 candidates sat for the examinations under the following programs:

  • Competency-Based Assessment (CBA)
  • Dual Apprenticeship Training System (DATS)
  • National Business Education and Training (NABE)
  • Integrated Mining Technical Training (IMTT)
The overall pass rate across all four (4) programs was 81.1%.


2. Results Announcement

VETA informs graduates and the general public that the examination results are now available. Candidates can access their results through:

3. Results Analysis

3.1 CBA Examination Results

I. Level 1 Results

A total of 15,805 candidates sat for Level 1 examinations under the CBA system.

  • 13,463 candidates (85.2%) passed
    • Male: 8,784 (85.2%)
    • Female: 4,679 (85.2%)

II. Level 2 Results

A total of 21,746 candidates sat for Level 2 examinations.

  • 17,045 candidates (78.4%) passed
    • Male: 11,724 (82.5%)
    • Female: 5,321 (70.7%)

III. Level 3 Results

A total of 2,700 candidates sat for Level 3 examinations.

  • 2,216 candidates (82.1%) passed
    • Male: 925 (80.9%)
    • Female: 1,291 (83.0%)

IV. Candidates Required to Retake

A total of 7,527 candidates (18.7%) out of 40,251 CBA candidates across Levels 1, 2, and 3 are required to retake the examinations.


3.2 NABE Program Results

A total of 161 candidates sat for the National Business Education examinations (Levels 1, 2, and 3).

  • 26 candidates (16.1%) passed
  • 135 candidates (83.9%) are required to retake

3.3 DATS Program Results

A total of 507 candidates sat for the Dual Apprenticeship Training System examinations.

  • 454 candidates (89.5%) passed
    • Male: 300 (87.5%)
    • Female: 154 (93.9%)

3.4 IMTT Program Results

A total of 54 candidates sat for the Integrated Mining Technical Training examinations.

  • 33 candidates (61.1%) passed
    • Male: 31 (59.6%)
    • Female: 2 (100%)

3.5 Cancelled Results

A total of 40 candidates (0.1%) were involved in examination malpractice during the December 2025 session.
Their results have been nullified in accordance with examination rules, regulations, and guidelines.
