About the Role​

The Programme and Administrative Associate will support office operations and programme implementation by providing administrative, financial, and logistical assistance.

The role requires a results-driven professional who can ensure efficient service delivery while supporting programme teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities​

Administrative and Logistical Support​

  • Support preparation of programme work plans, budgets, and proposals
  • Assist in programme implementation and reporting
  • Coordinate data collection for audits and support implementation of audit recommendations
  • Compile data and information for reports, speeches, and documents

Financial Management Support​

  • Create and manage projects in Atlas system
  • Prepare budget revisions and financial reports
  • Monitor programme finances and expenditures
  • Process vouchers and maintain expenditure control systems
  • Handle requisitions, receipts, and cost-recovery processes

Programme Support​

  • Organize meetings, workshops, and events
  • Manage travel arrangements for programme teams
  • Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and reports
  • Liaise with stakeholders and support communication activities

Qualifications and Requirements​

Education​

  • Completion of secondary education is required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field is an added advantage

Experience​

  • At least 7 years of experience in administration or programme support
  • Experience working with office software and digital systems
  • Experience within the UN system is an added advantage
  • Experience supporting teams and managing workflows
