QUALITY ASSURANCE OFFICER II (CHEMISTRY) – 2 Positions
Company: Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS)Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS) is inviting applications from qualified candidates to fill two (2) positions for the post of Quality Assurance Officer II (Chemistry). The application period runs from 22 March 2026 to 04 April 2026.
The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting quality assurance activities, laboratory operations, and certification processes within the organization. The duties and responsibilities include:
- Studying all aspects pertaining to inspection, quality management, and certification
- Studying and implementing laboratory safety procedures and regulations
- Carrying out analysis of samples as assigned by the supervisor or trainer
- Providing support to industries on matters related to quality assurance
- Implementing regulations for certification schemes
- Conducting quality assurance training, consultancy, and research
- Participating in preparation, implementation, maintenance, and review of quality systems
- Carrying out verification of supplies and services
- Undertaking corrective and preventive actions
- Assisting in ensuring safety and serviceability of equipment and apparatus
- A Bachelor Degree in Chemistry or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution
