As a Procurement and Supplies Officer, you will be responsible for managing the full procurement cycle while ensuring compliance and efficiency. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Planning, coordinating, and executing procurement activities in line with approved budgets and plans
- Sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers to achieve cost-effective purchasing
- Maintaining an updated supplier database and conducting periodic supplier performance reviews
- Ensuring compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Preparing and managing purchase orders, contracts, and related documentation
- Monitoring stock levels and coordinating with user departments to prevent shortages or overstocking
- Implementing inventory control systems and conducting regular stock audits
