MEDICAL SPECIALIST II (UROLOGY) – 1 Position
Hospitali ya Taifa Muhimbili (MNH) is inviting applications from qualified candidates to fill one (1) position for the post of Medical Specialist II (Urology). The application period runs from 22 March 2026 to 04 April 2026.
The successful candidate will provide specialized medical services, supervise medical staff, and contribute to training and research within the field of urology. The duties and responsibilities include:
- Providing routine specialized medical services for in-patients and out-patients
- Supervising ward rounds and advising on appropriate medication
- Participating in the training of student doctors in their areas of specialization
- Planning, supervising, and evaluating medical services offered in the field
- Preparing periodic reports regarding their area of specialization
- Conducting research in their area of specialization and publishing results for use by other experts
- Supervising junior medical doctors and providing technical advice
- Planning and supervising outreach programmes in their areas
- Performing any other related duties assigned by the Supervisor
- Master of Medicine (M.Med) in Urology
- Registration with the Medical Council of Tanganyika
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) Degree
