Role Purpose
The main objective of this role is to analyse data, generate insights, and deliver accurate reporting that supports decision-making across the business.You will work with tools like Power BI and SQL to transform data into dashboards and reports that improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and overall performance.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of data and reporting tasks, including:- Running standard and ad hoc reports using BI tools
- Analysing data to generate actionable business insights
- Developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards
- Supporting stock management, forecasting, and product planning
- Conducting trend analysis to drive revenue growth
- Monitoring sales performance across multiple channels
- Analysing digital marketing campaigns and customer satisfaction metrics
- Preparing reports for weekly, monthly, and executive-level meetings
- Ensuring data accuracy and resolving discrepancies
- Supporting business cases with data-driven evidence
- Collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders
- Developing training materials and conducting user training where required
Minimum Requirements
Candidates should meet the following qualifications and skills:- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 1–2 years of experience in data analytics or BI environments
- Strong experience with Microsoft BI tools (especially Power BI)
- Solid SQL skills (query writing, structuring, and optimisation)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Knowledge of data warehousing and data modelling
- Experience integrating data from multiple sources
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and logical thinking skills
- Good communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure
