About the Role
As a Broker Consultant, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with brokers while supporting them in delivering insurance products effectively.You will act as a key link between the company and brokers, ensuring smooth onboarding, compliance, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit and onboard new brokers and brokerages
- Build and maintain strong, long-term broker relationships
- Present and support life insurance products
- Provide product training and ongoing broker support
- Assist with underwriting and new business submissions
- Ensure compliance with FAIS, FICA, and internal processes
- Monitor broker performance, production, and quality of business
- Resolve broker queries, including commission-related matters
- Attend broker meetings, site visits, and industry events
- Maintain accurate records, reporting, and documentation
Minimum Requirements
Candidates should meet the following criteria:- Grade 12 (essential)
- Qualification in administration (preferred)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in broker consulting or life insurance
- Strong knowledge of life insurance products and relevant legislation
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle
- Strong administration and reporting skills
- Excellent communication skills in English

- FAIS compliance with RE5 certification
- Additional language proficiency
