ASSISTANT LECTURER (ACCOUNTING AND TAXATION) – 1 Position
College of Business Education (CBE) is inviting applications from qualified candidates to fill one (1) position for the post of Assistant Lecturer (Accounting and Taxation). The application period runs from 22 March 2026 to 04 April 2026.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, and practical training in accounting and taxation. The duties and responsibilities include:
- Teaching up to NTA Level 8 (Bachelor’s Degree) programs
- Assisting senior staff in practical training, seminars, and tutorials up to NTA Level 9 as part of capacity building
- Preparing learning resources for tutorial exercises
- Conducting research, seminars, and case studies
- Carrying out consultancy and community services under supervision
- Supervising students’ projects
- Assisting in preparing teaching manuals and compendiums
- Collaborating with senior staff in specific projects
- Attending workshops, conferences, and symposiums
- Master’s Degree (NTA Level 9) or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Taxation, or Accounting and Taxation
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Taxation, or Accounting and Taxation
- GPA of at least 4.0 (or equivalent of B+) for the Master’s Degree
- GPA of at least 3.8 for the Bachelor’s Degree
- Both degrees should be in similar or related disciplines
